Pink Shirt Policy

Don't be this guy.

Purpose: To ensure that players arrive at practice punctually and to reduce lateness within the Ultimate community.

Note: The term "player" is a collective term taken to mean any responsible person or persons who attend ABH training sessions.

Definitions

In line with good practice, the ABH training session begins officially at 12:00. The "grace period" opens at 12:00 and closes at 12:15.

  • Code Orange lateness (player arrives after practice begins but before the "grace period" closes) = the arrival of a player to practice after 12:00, but before 12:15.
  • Code Pink lateness (player arrives late and after the "grace period" has closed) = the arrival of a player to practice after 12.15.

Responding to Code Orange lateness

  • Player may breathe a sigh of relief.

Responding to Code Pink lateness

  • Player shall don one of the pink shirts of shame. In the case that the pink shirt is considered to be "too small", player shall wear it anyways.
  • Player shall look down at him/herself during training and remind him/herself to be on time next week.
  • Player may be photographed and shamed publicly.

Persistent Lateness (Code Pink lateness)

Definition: A player who arrives late on several occasions will be considered to be “Persistent” in his/her lateness.

Responding to Persistent Lateness

  • Player will be constantly heckled by teammates.
  • Player may find that nobody wants to sit next to him/her at the pub.
  • Player's selection for Tour may be affected.
